Featured course: ARTS 214/399 Ceramics

Vase with carved flowers on its side, by Fisayo Jebutu, from Fall 2017 semester.

Making pottery is relaxing. It is fun to color them with the glazes. Clay is ideal for creating textures on its surfaces or to carve. Some people like to be more painterly than others. Creating pots that you can use, with your own hands is a rewarding activity. And then your imagination can kick in.

This is an in-person course, which has use of zoom for slide lectures and Blended synchronous distance teaching for emergency.
