Stressed out? Sleep Deprived? Of course, you’re in college! Do you wonder why your heart beats faster, you have difficulty concentrating, and seem to get sick more often under stress? There is a reason for that! If you are interested in learning how the human body works and exploring how the body responds to and manages stress, based on evidence, this class is for you. It is a remote-asynchronous course designed for non-majors. For CWRU students, BIOL 112 fulfills a general education requirement for students in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Weatherhead School of Management.
