Explore religious traditions across the globe! “Religion and Culture” examines “the world’s great religions” through specific case studies, with special attention to current events and pop culture (music, film, art). There is only one textbook, which we supplement with podcasts, movies, and short readings. By studying religion and culture in dialogue, you can begin to see how the sacred and profane influence one another. Counts for the CAS Global & Cultural Diversity Requirement.

This summer, RLGN 101 is being taught entirely online, through a blend of both synchronous and asynchronous virtual seminar sessions during the four-week term. If you have any questions about the course, contact Professor Brian Clites, brian.clites@case.edu
