Featured course: BIOL 312 Introductory Plant Biology

Understanding plants today plays an enormous role in both major and nonmajor students. Global warming, ozone layer depletion, genetic engineering, organic gardening, recycling of energy, interactions between plants and the rest of the universe, and the significance of biogeocycle are illustrated. Finally, concepts of interconnectivity between nonliving & living organisms are made clear through this introductory plant biology course.

It is a 3-credit hour course, will be offered remotely using asynchronous and synchronous modality during the 6-week June session of summer 2021.
