Wade Oval Wednesdays
Every Wednesday, June 12 through Aug. 28 | 5-8 p.m. on Wade Oval

Parade the Circle
June 14 | 1 to 4 p.m. on Wade Oval
Parade the Circle, one of Cleveland’s most impactful cultural events, is an annual art parade featuring innovative costumes, giant puppets and handmade masks created by artists, families, schools, and community groups.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Summer Concert Series

The Live and Local Series is a free concert series featuring some of the best Cleveland and Northeast Ohio talent on the PNC Stage.

Summer on the Cuyahoga
June and July | Greater Cleveland Area/CWRU
Summer on the Cuyahoga is Cleveland’s premier internship program for a select group of regional colleges and universities. Students live on CWRU’s campus and attend social and professional events for students and alumni throughout the summer.
Humanities@Work summer internships and funding
Throughout the summer | Local employers
Humanities@Work is a partnership between CWRU’s Career Center and the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities. Students can be matched with a local employer for a summer internship, or apply for funding to support internships they’ve secured themselves.
Career-Ready Certificate Program
Thursdays, July 3 through Aug. 28 | Hybrid (Sears 213 and Zoom)
Students may complete the Career Development Hub Canvas course at their own pace and then join sessions led by the Career Center to dive deeper into key career topics. Students who finish the program will earn a Career Ready digital badge to showcase on LinkedIn and a physical certificate to demonstrate their commitment to career development.

Pickleball tournament
June 11, 3-6 p.m. | Veale Fieldhouse
Kick off summer break with our first summer IMLeague event: pickleball tournament. Students can register on IMLeagues with their pickleball partner, or register as a “free Agent” to meet someone new this summer.
3v3 basketball tournament
June 25, 3-6 p.m. | Veale Fieldhouse
A competitive one day tournament that students can register on IMLeagues. Winning team will receive an IM Champion shirt.
3v3 indoor soccer tournament
July 9, 3-6 p.m. | Veale Fieldhouse
A competitive one day tournament that students can register on IMLeagues. Winning team will receive an IM Champion shirt.
Tennis tournament

Enjoy the Cleveland weather with a fun, competitive tournament that students can participate in for one day. Participants can register for the Doubles or Singles Bracket.
Sand volleyball tournament

Take a break from summer classes or work responsibilities to enjoy a fun, competitive atmosphere with friends or colleagues for a few hours. Students can register their team on IMLeagues, or can be added to a team by registering as a “free agent.”
